The Scott Lee Foundation, Inc. (SLF) is a 501c3 non-profit public charity, incorporated in the State of Maryland, USA. SLF was established as a tribute to the life and legacy of Nicole Lynette Scott Lee, with the goal of providing counseling, social services and educational resources to disadvantaged and underserved members of our community.

We intend to focus on the needs of youth, young adults, women, seniors, the bereaved and others who can benefit from the programs we provide. Although we are located in Prince Georges County, we will extend our services throughout the State of Maryland and into neighboring counties and communities in the Northeast corridor.

Our Story

The Scott Lee Foundation, Inc. was founded by Portia A. Scott as a tribute to the memory of her daughter, Nicole Lynette Scott Lee, who departed this life suddenly on June 17, 2007. Nicole was a wonderful daughter, a loving wife, a devoted mother to two beautiful daughters, and a supportive friend to many. Nicole also had a huge passion for community service which is the heart of the Scott Lee Foundation. Now her life serves as an example of what it means to give back to the community in a way that builds and provides opportunity for individuals who need it most.
